  • Terminal 2 (united airlines) is on LHS of GW memorial parkway and Terminal 1 is on RHS.
  • Later on, there is a split of Parking (1) and Terminal (2)/Parking (2), follow Terminal (2)
  • Two lanes. Left is Terminal 2 (Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, United), right is Terminal 1 (Air Canada, Frontier, Southwest). Wait for a traffic light.
  • Pass the traffic light, it has 4 lanes. Left 2 are Terminal 2 Arrival Bag Claim and Ticketing Check-In. Right 2 are Terminal 1 Ticketing/Check-In and Arrival Bag Claim. Split into Terminal 2 and Terminal 1.
  • Go into Terminal 2. It'll split into (Left) Arrival Bag Claim and (right) Ticketing/Check-In.
  • Go to Ticketing/Check-in. Delta and United are the first. Then it is Alaska, JetBlue and finally it is American.
  • Switch to the right most lane for Airport exit.
  • After exiting the airport, don't drive on the right-most lane since it'll lead to I-395 and goes to DC.
  • If we go to I-395, stick to the right 3 lanes. Keep driving until we see Maine Ave SW. Stop sign and continue straight. We'll see a traffic light and ready to turn right into "Maine Ave SW". This is close to The Wharf.
  • Follow the sign, we'll take left turn into I-395 (not really I-395). Eventually we are back to "Main Ave SW". After a while, "Washington Monument" is on the RHS. The road eventually becomes "Independence Ave SW".
  • We will see "Lincoln Memorial" on RHS.
  • Keep straight, we will see "Kennedy Center". We are now on "Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway".
